About Marguerite
I’m a multidisciplinary artist based in Austin, TX, while also traveling the globe for my work.
In 2016 I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BFA in Art History and moved to Los Angeles. After working as a music publicist, art director/assistant director/photographer on music videos, and finally a gallery director and curator, in the fall of 2022 I returned to my home state of Texas to focus on my own art practice full-time.
My approach to photography + filmmaking is to be like a human kaleidescope. I’m interested in the beauty of everyday life, making everyone feel truly seen, relationships, and the unique chemistry of people’s energy. I also enjoy exploring memories, dreams, and worldbuilding through the use of art direction and stoytelling. I learned to shoot, develop, and print my film photos in high school and film photography remains an integral aspect to my practice.
